About Susan J. Stapleton Counselling

Susan Stapleton Photo
Susan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. She focuses on child and adolescent therapy, and on coaching families experiencing separation and divorce.

Susan’s approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfullness, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy and Trauma-Informed Practice, among other therapies.

Susan has experience treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harming behaviour, drug and alcohol abuse, anger, and trauma. Susan also helps clients develop social skills and manage difficult transitions.

Susan takes an empathetic and caring approach when working with young people. She is aware of their unique needs and experiences and enjoys working with them one-on-one.
